Singapore is potentially facing its largest dengue outbreak ever.
Singapore has recorded more than 26,000 dengue cases this year, surpassing the previous annual record of around 22,000 in 2013 with three months still remaining.
Currently, the cumulative number of cases for 2020 (First 37 E-weeks) is 28943.
Fortunately, dengue fever in most people is a relatively benign disease.
Below are some self-care measures one can take when diagnosed with dengue.

More specific signs such as bleeding gums and blood in the urine often do not occur. Hence, a high index of suspicion is needed.
If you think you have dengue, visit your doctor as soon as possible.
