Types of Acne:

Blackheads and whiteheads

They are simply clogged pores below the surface of the skin that are not inflamed. When oil, dead skin cells and bacteria accumulate to block pores, small bumps start to arise on the surface of the face. The good news is that blackheads and whiteheads are easily treatable since they are not inflamed and do not need any serious medication.

Papules and pustules

Whenever a clogged pore grows irritated, they start to become inflamed acne. It swells up, appears reddish, and is painful to touch.

Pustules

These are inflamed acne lesions, mostly filled with pus. Pustules can appear white or yellow in colour, and popping pustules irresponsibly can lead to further acne scarring.

Nodules

Nodules are categorised as large, hard and painful bumps embed under the skin surface during a later stage of acne breakout. Unlike Pustules, they are larger, harder and raw to touch. Cysts
