Moles can appear anywhere on the body and can be found singularly or in groups. They are formed gradually or due to changes in hormones. Additionally, moles can be flat, raised, and in various colours.

Most moles appear early in one’s life, but any new moles appearing after age of 35 may need closer observation and specific mole removal treatment.

Oil spots (also known as milia seeds) are small white bumps that appears on the face. They are formed when skin flakes or keratin  (a substance produced by the skin) becomes entrapped beneath the outer layer of the skin, forming a tiny cyst. Milia seeds are mostly grouped together on the nose, chin and cheeks but may be found somewhere else.
