Healthsprings Group has received more than 400 registration of interest for the sinopharm vaccines within half a month. The clinics estimate that the vaccine will only arrive from mid-September onwards.
Dr Soh Lea Sar, the founder and director of the Healthsprings group of family practice and medical aesthetic clinics, said that: “We were not expecting such a good response. Most of those who registered interest for the vaccine feel that the mRNA technology is new and they do not have full confidence in it, or they feel that the Sinopharm may be more effective than Sinovac vaccine. Thus, they will rather wait for the Sinopharm vaccine .”
