WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
Manage your weight. Understand the cause.
Doctor-led weight management in Singapore, built around what’s actually driving your weight, including testing for insulin resistance, hormones, and metabolism, not just the number on the scale.
You've likely tried things on your own already.
Diets, exercise plans, supplements bought online, many people arrive at weight management already having tried several approaches. What’s often missing isn’t effort, it’s understanding what’s happening underneath.
Insulin resistance, hormonal shifts, and metabolic changes can all affect your weight, long before they show up anywhere else. A doctor can test for this, and build a plan around what’s actually found, rather than guessing.
Weight management guided by a doctor is the nationally recommended approach in Singapore.
Our programmes are built specifically for overweight, lifestyle change, and postpartum needs.
30 yearsof clinical experience sits behind every Healthsprings weight management programme.
Testing first, then a plan
Rather than starting with a generic plan, we look at what may be driving your weight first, then build your programme around it.
Metabolic testing
Insulin, IGF-1, and HbA1c testing to understand what may be driving your weight.
Body composition scan
DEXA body fat analysis shows what the scale alone can’t, fat versus lean mass.
Doctor-led programme
Your plan is guided by your doctor, not a generic template.
Ongoing, not one-off
Regular check-ins and plan adjustments as your results change.
Dietary guidance
A personalised plan with doctor-guided meal reviews, not a one-size-fits-all diet sheet.
Accessible across Singapore
Orchard Road, Bukit Panjang, and Bidadari. Teleconsult follow-ups also available.

FAQ
Who is this programme for?
Our weight management programmes are designed for three groups: people with a BMI of 25 or higher, people who want support adopting a healthier lifestyle, and women 3 to 6 months postpartum. Your doctor will assess which approach suits you.
I've tried diets and exercise on my own already, why would this be different?
Many of our patients have tried managing their weight independently before coming in. Testing can reveal underlying metabolic or hormonal factors that diet and exercise alone may not address, which is why we recommend starting with an assessment rather than another generic plan.
How much does it cost for weight management consultation?
The first consultation will be $70, and subsequent consultations are $40. Our doctors will need to assess your condition and weight loss goals before determining the type and cost of treatments.
Are injectable and oral weight loss medications the same?
No, although both can be effective, they differ in administration and frequency. Injectable medications are typically taken less often (daily or weekly), while most oral medications are taken daily.
Are the medications safe?
Medication is regulated by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA), and the doctor will assess your health condition before prescribing any medications.
*For patients with chronic conditions, it’s important to discuss your condition with our doctors to determine whether you are suitable for the weight management program.
